A library is a place which can help a man to satisfy his unquenchable thirst for knowledge. It is a part and parcel of an educational institution. It is a room of books. It may be called the storehouse of knowledge. KMUC has a big library. It is housed in the academic building and in a spacious room on the second floor. The library is well-decorated. There are three big rooms in it. Two rooms are used as reading rooms. Boys and girls have separate rooms. In the other room, books are arranged in almirahs. There are about five thousand books in the library. They include many reference books on different subjects. It also contains some rare books on history and culture. Only the students can read and borrow books from the library. For this, they have to issue library cards. A student can borrow two or three books at a time and keep them at home for a week. But in the reading room, he is allowed to read as many books as he can. It remains open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. except on holidays. There are some benches in the library. The students sit on them and read books. There are a good number of book-shelves and book-cases in the library. There are so many books on it. There are novels, ghost books, reference books, storybooks, textbooks etc. all the books are well-arranged. For the teachers, the library has a well-furnished reading room. There is another room for the librarians and the library has two smart, intelligent and experienced librarians who maintains strict discipline in the library. The library is leisure companion for both the teachers and the students.
